Your visit. Your choice.
This notice explains how Junklab handles information when you use junklab.au. Contact hello@junklab.au with privacy questions or requests.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics only if you choose “Allow analytics”. It helps us understand visits, popular pages, how people find the site and whether visitors explore our services or click an enquiry link.
After you agree, Google receives information about your browser and device, page visits and selected interactions. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish visits. Google processes IP addresses to derive approximate location; it says it does not log or store individual IP addresses in Google Analytics.
We do not enable Google advertising signals or personalised advertising. Our tracking code excludes URL query strings, fragments, form contents and enquiry messages. An enquiry-link click is recorded as a click, not as a completed enquiry. With analytics permission, a separate event records when a project enquiry is accepted for email delivery. It does not include your name, email address, budget, message or the enquiry reference, and does not prove inbox delivery or a sale.
We remember your analytics choice in your browser for up to six months. You can withdraw permission at any time using the link below. Withdrawal stops further analytics collection and removes our accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not undo data already collected.
Google may process information outside Australia. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google Analytics safeguards data for details.
Project enquiries
The website-project form uses your name, email address, project outline and any optional website, budget and timing information to discuss your project. It does not subscribe you to marketing.
When direct sending is available, Cloudflare processes the form and verifies the spam check, and Resend processes the message for delivery to our studio inbox. These providers may process information outside Australia. We keep project correspondence in our business email, not in a public website database. Please do not include sensitive information.
When direct sending is unavailable, the page offers an email-app link instead. Your draft stays in the page until you choose to open your email app. No form success or lead event is recorded for that action.
The spam check is separate from optional analytics. We do not send enquiry contents to Google, enable remarketing, or upload hashed customer details. Resend privacy information and Cloudflare privacy information.
Enquiries & updates
When you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond and discuss your project. Please avoid including sensitive information in an initial enquiry.
If you subscribe to studio updates, we send your email address to Buttondown, our mailing-list provider, to manage your subscription and deliver email. Confirm your subscription using the email you receive. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter.
Newsletter subscription and website analytics are separate choices. Declining analytics does not prevent you from contacting us or subscribing. See Buttondown’s privacy policy.
Hosting & your information
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. Requests include technical information such as your IP address and browser headers, which may be processed to deliver the site and maintain security, independently of optional analytics.
Links to social platforms take you to services with their own privacy practices. We do not load their advertising pixels on this website.
To ask about information you have given us, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email hello@junklab.au. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
